We have recently changed the 24 hour Emergency phone line for wildlife rescue to
13 000 WILDLIFE or 13 000 94535
It is here, on the website, on the Wildlife Victoria site and on publications and signposts.
Please make a note of it 'just in case'
The old number is now not in use so please can you let us know if you see any old signboards on the roads or highways that still have the old number so that they can be changed. Thank you!

"The shelter has been so busy all the summer months and around Easter particularly. Lots of broken animals and a couple of orphans were in. We rescued 17 animals over the Easter week. We have had wombats, koalas, cockatoos, correllas, magpies, roos and even a lost dog - and we had 7 adult kangaroos temporarily unable to stand for one reason or another in the back room area of the house."
